John Galliano, creative designer at Christian Dior was fired days before the debut of Dior's autumn/winter 2011 collection. The allegation against Galliano are that he made racist remarks at a Paris cafe to two visitors. Furthermore, a mobile phone footage streaming through Youtube reveals Galliano saying "I love Hitler". Dior has gone through with his termination but is not in a good position. Buyers and the press are very disturbed about the situation which will most likely cause a significant drop in sales for Dior.
I think he was such a great designer and will be hard to replace but when you make such inhuman and racist comments like he did...you don't deserve to have people appreciate your pieces of true art. Sad...but true; wish it never happened!
